Just put in “bottled barbecue sauce” in a search engine and you’ll find all kind of sites. But the best BBQ sauces I’ve eaten are bottled in the stores: Sweet Baby Ray’s and from a guy I used to work with near Chicago IL, “2 Pair and a Spare”.

BBQ Sauce
1 cup strong Black Coffee
1 cup worchestershire sauce
1 cup catsup
1/2 cup cider vinegar
3 TBsp. Chili Powder
2 tsp. salt
2 cups chopped onion
1/4 cup minced hot peppers
6 cloves garlic
Combine all the ingredients and simmer in a large sauce pan for 25 minutes. Puree in the food processor or blender .
For a thicker sauce, return to the stove and simmer another 15-20 minutes.
Refrigerate between uses. Makes about 1 qt.
