INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon dried thyme leaves
1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
3 pounds beef brisket, trimmed of fat
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 cups barbeque sauce
DIRECTIONS
Combine thyme, paprika, pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, and cumin in a small bowl; set aside. Rub brisket all over with liquid smoke, then rub with spice mixture.
Pour Worcestershire and barbeque sauces into a slow cooker; place beef on top. Cover, and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours, until fork tender.

buy one of those reynolds oven bags. mix some hickory and brown sugar barbecue sauce with some water (the size of your brisket will depend on how much you use so for a 3 lb brisket you woudl use 1 bottle of bbq to half a bottle of water) and pour it in the bag. If it is a 3 pound brisket you will leave it in the oven at 275 for 4 hours. The bigger the brisket the more time it should be cooked so that it is tender, but be careful because if you cook it too long the meat will get tough. The barbecue will marinate the brisket while it cooks.

Brisket, salt, pepper, chopped onions, minced garlic and this sauce cooked for 10 hours low and slow.
