    Here’s a simple one-it’s pretty good.
    1/2 c. catsup
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. water

You can use less water or more depending on whether you are using it as a marinade or sauce. (More water for marinade, less for sauce). This isn’t too spicy, but if you like spicy add some chili powder to taste.

    Try allrecipes.com
I use it all the time to find recipes for just about anything. Users can rate how well they like the recipes. Love it. Not sure what I did without it.

I am giving away my secret! lol! Kanasas City style with an extra kick provided by the chipotles.

1 can small can tomato paste
    1/2 medium onion finely diced
2 cloves of fresh garlic finely minced
    1 cup apple cidar vinegar
2 chipotle chiles finely minced. (The kind in a can not dry)
3/4 cup full flavor molases (not the light kind)
    water
    canola oil
    salt
    pepper
Fry onions in oil until good and brown (not black), quickly add in garlic and chipotles and fry for another minute or so taking care not to burn the garlic. Add in vinegar and let cook for 5 min or so. Add in tomato paste and stir with a whisk. Put some water in there to thin down slightly. Put in salt pepper and molases and stir with a whisk and let simmer another 10 minutes or so.

This comes out a dark red and is slightly sweet and slightly spicy too.

Excellent on bbq chicken and ribs.
