Ok you should feel special and give me the 10 points because i’m going to give you my personal creation;
2 large tomato’s
1 small can tomato paste
2-3 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp curry powder
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp chili powder
1 tbsp vinegar
put them all in the blender and blend, you can use whatever spices you like but i love the combination I came up with. Good luck and remember if you are going to BBQ it instead of cooking it in the oven, BBQ sauces that contain a good amount of sugar should go on close to the end, sugar will burn on a high heat from a BBQ.

if you want to buy a nice bbq sauce that is different but very good.. try Lowries chipotle marinade/sauce it is very good in my opinion. Grab a small jar of real honey too. I won 1st place ribs in a state cookoff a few years ago with that combination. Of course the cooking of the ribs is most important but a good sauce (for those who like sauce) is a must.
If you want a good homemade sauce try a bottle of ketchup with a lil apple cidar vinegar, brown sugar, onion and garlic powder (or liquified)and a touch of cayenne pepper a bit of chili powder is good too. You can add lotsa different stuff in various combinations but that’s pretty basic. I make several gallons every weekend at my bbq joint/cafe.
and if you can save some of your drippings to add to the sauce is almost a must…if not a lil Wylers beef granules or broth will do the trick.
If you want something more specific gimme a buzz. I can give you an exact per gallons recipe if you wanna do the math. BUT all in all, it’s just a matter of taste. Play with it a bit and you’ll see what I mean.

This is so easy and so good you can’t believe it unless you try it !!
1 bottle Western salad dressing,or Catalina
1 envelope Lipton’s onion soup mix
1 can Cranberry sauce (either whole or jelly)
Mix together and pour over your ribs,bake either in oven or crockpot until tender, wonderful, this is good on chicken too ! yum
